About the place

Beaufort House was originally a castle; its interior was remodelled around 1840 and the fireplaces and plasterwork date from then. The main house has four large double bedrooms, each with a king bed that converts to twin beds and its own bathroom.

Four self-catering cottages sit alongside, sleeping 8, 6, 4 and 4, so a group of 30 can share meals in the main house and still have their own space. The estate is a short drive from Killarney town and the Gap of Dunloe.

• Sleeps 30 across a manor and four cottages
• Every bedroom has its own bathroom
• 40 acres of woodland on the River Laune
• Near Killarney and the Gap of Dunloe
