About the place

Straid Croí is at Kildarragh, between Creeslough and Dunfanaghy, looking straight at Muckish Mountain. It has six bedrooms, one of them a snug with a double sofa bed and a TV, and three bathrooms, two of them en suite. The kitchen is large and the lounge has a wood burner. A fenced part of the lawn keeps dogs and small children in.

Ards Forest Park is within walking distance, Marble Hill beach is about four minutes by car and Dunfanaghy six. McCarry's bar is a short walk up the road. The owners aim it at families, walkers and golfers, with Rosapenna, Portsalon and Dunfanaghy courses all close. Off-peak weeks were listed from €1,185; towels are not included.
