About the place

Grove House overlooks Schull Harbour and is about five minutes on foot from the village. It has six bedrooms (two kings, two doubles, a twin and a bunk room for four), six en suites plus a family bathroom, two lounges, a sun lounge and a music room with a grand piano. A separate cottage holds a pool table and table tennis.

There's a commercial kitchen and dining space for up to 30, and the owner can recommend chefs to cook on site. Dogs are welcome. Rates seen run from €1,350 a midweek night, €2,700 for a two-night weekend and €5,900 a week; there's a two-night minimum, rising to a week in June, July, August and at Christmas.
