About the place

The house is in the Roaringwater Bay area near Skibbereen, a short way from Kilcoe Castle. The main house has five bedrooms, two of them en suite, and sleeps 8; a thatched cottage on the same grounds sleeps 4 more, so the two together take 12. They can also be rented on their own.

It stands in several acres of gardens with a large patio facing the bay. The listing quotes €2,500 a week but doesn't say whether that covers the house alone or both buildings, so check before booking.
